It has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD now, it should support larger capacity drive from few different vendors. Please try 1TB using its existing specs with 1TB.
Hope this helps.
Note: HP does have option using 1-TB, 2280, PCIe-3×4, NVMe, solid-state drive with three-layer cell (TLC) DS for the series but NO part # for it.
