Good day,

I apologize if that is not the right category, but I am pretty desperate. I tried getting an HP out of warranty voucher for my gaming HP pavilion laptop, so that I could purchase a new one. The code was generated, but sent to a wrong email address. The HP support agent I worked with over the week on the hotline has sent info about this to the external company twice, and twice over they have said that they have sent this code to my email address, although nothing ever actually came. We made sure the email was right, that there was nothing in the spam folders, and I also shared an alternative email address too. It has been going on for a week now, and I am starting to lose hope of actually getting that voucher. The agent said she would send another email to the company, but I am not sure anything will come of this. I also emailed two HP support addresses. When I asked about this situation on the HP chat, I was given a 20% cashback code, but I am not sure how it works exactly as an email with details about this 20% code never came to my inbox either. The person on the hotline was quite surprised at this voucher, so I am not sure if it is even valid. I cannot refer to ID of the voucher production support ticket either, as it also never came to my address.

Perhaps someone that can do something about this will see this and help out.

Once again, I'm sorry if this is not the topic for this category.

I wish you a wonderful day and thank you for reading.

Hi @hibreak , Welcome to HP Support Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with obtaining the out-of-warranty voucher for your HP Pavilion laptop. Here are a few steps you might consider to address this issue:

  1. Double-Check Spam/Junk Folders: Sometimes, emails from external sources may end up in spam or junk folders. Ensure you've checked these folders in your email account.
  2. Verify Email Address: Confirm with the HP support agent that they have the correct email address on file. It might help to double-check every character to ensure there are no spelling mistakes or typographical errors.
  3. Alternative Contact Method: If possible, provide an alternate email address to the support agent where the voucher could be sent, to see if it may bypass any filtering issues with your primary email.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
