Hi everyone,

I recently noticed a sudden crack on the display of my OMEN by HP Gaming Laptop (model 16-n0xxx). What’s strange is that the laptop has never been dropped, hit, or had anything fall on it. There are also no visible signs of damage on the lid or surrounding areas.

I’ve been using this laptop carefully for about three years, and it’s still in excellent condition—no scratches or dents anywhere. This crack just appeared unexpectedly, and I’m not sure why.

I currently live in India and am trying to find out how much it might cost to replace just the display. However, it’s been quite difficult to find genuine replacement parts or service details locally.

Could anyone please guide me on:

  • The approximate cost of replacing the display in India

  • Whether HP Authorized Service Centers handle such issues

  • Any reliable sources for original OMEN replacement screens

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
