Solved!

Swelling under the trackpad near the space bar

HP Recommended
OMEN by HP - 15-ce020na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It seems like the area under the trackpad and space bar is swelling on my HP Omen 15-ce020na

Is this a battery issue? And how can I get this issue resolved? Not great if the battery is swelling!!

You are correct on both counts:

It is the battery.

It is not great.

Although according to the HP data, the condition is not itself dangerous,

The only fix - and the only way to prevent possible damage to other components due to stress - is to remove the battery and replace it.

Part number and Replacement Procedure here:

 Maintenance and Service Guide

Starting on Page 36

Description                                                                                                                                             Spare part number
4cell, 70Whr, 4.55AH, Li-ion battery for use in products equipped with a N17E GPU       917724-855
3cell, 52.5Whr, 4.55AH, Li-ion battery for use in products equipped with a N17P GPU   L08855-855

Note that the replacement is fairly straight forward - you do have to open the case and that - the battery is not hiding under a bunch of other bits - it is easy to get to it, in other words.
