HP Recommended
HP envy notebook 2EW64UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Product number is 2EW64UA#ABA

Due to windows update Issue I  started getting issues like audio not working, WIFI not working and recently my Nvidia graphics also gave problems and hence gave it to a local service who reformatted my machine and in the process also wiped off my recovery disk. Today through HP recovery tool I got a USB drive ready and executed the system recovery through the HP recovery manager tool. Everything seemed to be fine for 3 to  4hours and towards the final stage I received the below mentioned error and was really frustrating... can some one help me out here please

link to the error log is shared herewith.

Possible cause(s):

-got critical error during Specialize-Pass.

check [C:\windows\panther\setupact.log] for this case

-got critical error during Audit-Pass.

check [C:\windows\panther\unattendGC\setupact.log] for this case

-got critical error during SysPrep.

check [C:\windows\System32\sysprep\panther\setupact.log] for this case."

Can ANYONE help me?

Hi:

If the media you made using the cloud recovery tool didn't work the only suggestion I can offer, would be to clean install W10.

Make bootable installation media using the media creation tool from the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
