@Shaunak2710, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It seems that you're experiencing an issue where the Performance Mode is not showing in the OMEN Gaming Hub for your Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa2000 series, despite having the NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 4050 graphics card. This issue can be related to the Virtualization-Based Security (VBS) feature being enabled on your system.

When VBS is active, certain features and functionalities in HP applications, including the OMEN Gaming Hub, might not work properly. This includes performance control and manual fan speed control which are common issues when VBS is enabled.

To resolve this issue, you may need to disable the VBS feature. Below are the steps to check and disable VBS:

Check VBS Status:

  • Click Start.
  • Type msinfo32 in the Search field and open it.
  • Look for Virtualization-Based Security Status in the System Information page.

Disable VBS:

  • Open Settings from Start.
  • Navigate to Privacy & Security > Windows Security > Device security.
  • Click Core isolation details under Core Isolation and toggle Memory Integrity to Off.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
