I've been using the laptop for almost six months and this is the first issue i've found. The cpu and gpu temporatures are are between 90-97 and 50 - 60 respectively. I have shut everything else the usage for both is less than 10% and it still isn't getting any cooler. I have checked task manager and it says under 10% usage as well, I've reinsatlled omen comand center and nothing fixed it.
pliz help i dont know what is wrong.

Hello @Mikeyq
Sounds like you got one of the chips that runs hot. You're not doing anything wrong, many have experienced this.
HPs response to me on this was that they can handle the heat and people should run their games on lower settings.
But the only way I can offer to lower the temps is to turn off Turbo Boost of the cpu by undervolting.
You can lower the CPU max processor state to between 94-99% (each laptop will have they're own sweet spot).
Or you can use a tool like Throttle Stop. I don't do support for those 3rd party tools. You can ask their forums for help.
