Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Omen 17 and the audio sounds like garbage.  The sound is expected from the laptop speakers, they never sound great, but the audio quality in the headphones sounds like crap, almost unlistenable as far as I am concerned.  I want my music to sound great and game audio should be outstanding as well!  After all it's a fairly pricey gaming laptop right!?!?  There is absolutely no bass and there is no high frequency either.  It's almost like listening to a transistor radio!  I uninstalled the Realtek Audio and re-installed it and it made no difference.  WTH is going on here?  My iPhone and IPod sound crazy awesome through my good HarmonKardon ear phones so what gives?  I don't get it!!!!
