OMEN by HP - 17-an012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all, I've had this laptop for a little over a year now (maybe 14 or 15 months) and this has been a persistent problem that has only now become seriously unbearable.

The screen of my Omen has these little weird grey grease-like marks that cannot be removed by any cleaning fluid I've tried, and I am almost 100% sure that they were caused by the keyboard rubbing up against the screen when the laptop is closed.
I would say that maybe I am the cause of this if I didn't treat this laptop like a baby and carry it around in a backpack bought from HP made specifically for this laptop. Additionally, I am positive that it is the keyboard as the marks are in the shape of my keyboard.

I have tried Windex, water,  non-descript 3DS cleaning fluid from target, television screen cleaning fluids, all sorts of things but I still cannot remove the little buggers.

Generally speaking, I would ignore them but it has gotten to the point where I can see them no matter what is on the screen, they stick out, and when I am trying to work on art or play a video game they are incredibly distracting.
As stated earlier they were also a problem back when I first got the laptop in around August of 2017 but I could simply wipe them away at that point.

To make matters worse the keyboard rubbing into the screen has caused a dead pixel to appear on the screen about where the corner of the little Omen key to the upper right of the keyboard would hit it.
I honestly have no idea what to do or where to go to get this fixed, I love this laptop and would like to get the screen back to working order asap, is there anything I can do? I'll try to get pictures of them at some point in the next day or so but my camera is having trouble picking them up.

(Also, sorry for any weird grammar or nonsense on my part, it's 2 am and I'm absolutely exhausted, not to mention I have never posted on a forum of any type before so I am unsure of the standard etiquette)

I can ask a Moderator to escalate your issue.

Done. Escalation requested!

If you purchased a Care pack for your Omen, this shouldn't be a problem to have resolved.
