HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0020nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

This is the second time I wrote a comment on this product, original thread has been locked (edit : since the time)

I sometimes use this gaming laptop to play starcraft 2 and I can't play a game without lag/sttutering (?) issues (en français : le jeu saccade), the temperatures are way to high on the CPU, since the purchase date.. (no dust and I use the laptop with a support to help the ventilation)

I think this product should not have passed the production line... it's a waste of money to buy a product that is not able to fulfill its purpose (play games without issues for example).

Thank's HP for providing bad cooling system, this is a very bad investment for me 😥

Sorry bad mood, not very positive but its not having a good time  to play SC2 on this laptop unfortunately and the problem has not been resolute since the first time I posted on this forum.

The following picture was taken after only 5 min game starcraft 2

Hello Ub6424,

Thank's for your answer.

Here is the system summary of the notebook using msinfo.

All update have been done with HP support assistant

I've done the system check up with "HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows" and it didn't show any problem but I think when the GPU (gtx 1060 3Go) is used at the same that the CPU (in game for example) I have overheating issue on the CPU.

I tried "intel XTU" to decrease the voltage on cpu but I can't do anything with this software (settings are locked), so after I tried "throttlestop" (v9.5) to do the same but it seems more complicated to set up..
