I have an omen 16 c0004sl with the same problem. When it happens, if i turn off the touchpad with the f11 button and turn it on, it seems to fix it but after some time it happens again. I also substituted the laptop with another laptop because of this problem, and also with this other one there is this problem and we are not the only ones, if you google it, you will find that many other people have this problem....  Hp drivers or touchpad quality are sp bad...
