HP 15-dc1044na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As the title says, I have a HP 15-dc1044na  with synaptics (unfortunately) touchpad and for some reason it randomly zooms in on a web page when two finger scrolling. I don't think it happens on Firefox (only had the laptop since last night). I have switched off everything I can find related to the mouse, touchpad and synaptic settings and absolutely nothing works. I even tried the precision drivers hack but that rendered the touchpad useless. Any thoughts? Many thanks.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  1. Press the Start button on the keyboard, type Mouse & Touchpad settings and select the topmost search result.
  2. From the window click on Additional mouse option.
  3. Click on the Device Settings tab and click on the Settings button.
  4. From the left side panel, click Pinch Zoom option and uncheck the box Enable Pinch Zoom.
