Hello, 

 

I have been using USB-C to HDMI hub for 6 months and it has stoped working. 

 

I have checked the hub in other computers and work, I have checked other hub in Omen computer and does not work. 

 

I have tried to:

-Delete the drivers from Nvidia and Intel using DDU

-Reinstalling different Nvidia driver versions

-Switching off the computer and keeping power button for 30 seconds (also F6 & power button and also only with battery support)

-Making a HW scan of the usb ports

-Activating/desactivating high resolution mode on usb-c dp

 

 

None have worked. 

 

The hub has a the mouse and keyboard connected and this is working properly, if I connect a phone, it is also properly detected through the Thunderbolt 4 USB -C port. the only thing that does not work is the HDMI.

 

What can I do?

HP Recommended

Remove the battery, wait 5 minutes, connect again and DP port starts to work again. 

 

HW bug that need full power removal.
