USB port on the lefthand side (beside the earphone port) is not working. I tried to charge my phone or use the wireless mouse through this port but failed. It was working before and suddenly stopped working. The other ports work fine. The laptop is almost brand new, go it in December.

Hello @kuroE

You can try running the Diagnostics before Windows boots up. It has a USB port checker under Component Tests.

F2 at power up will access Diagnostics.

HP How to use Diagnostics

I would recommend you contact HP Support directly for a warranty issue. They might have to have the laptop sent in for repairs.

Thank you for your reply. Actually my port works again after I restart my computer. I'm not sure if it's because of poor connection or what.
