Hello,

I've been having a frustrating time dealing with lag since I've got this computer. At first I thought it was my college's wifi, but upon visiting family, I've come to realize that the computer lags the same regardless of the internet connection. When connected, I typically have great internet speed, but about every minute I will get an intense lag spike for just a few seconds, as shown in the images provided. These spikes are magnified when playing an online game, and result in many competitive games being unplayable due to the unreliability of it all. I have tried the following solutions with no luck: Updating internet, GPU, hard drive, and CPU drivers; checking the computer for malware; I know its not the hard drive since I just got a new one and the issue hasn't changed; Disabling CPU TurboBoosting with ThrottleStop; Updating OS and BIOS. Nothing has helped in the slightest and I am about ready to call it hardware error and file a warranty claim, but would REALLY like to avoid the trouble.

Thank you so much for reading this and helping out in advance. I'll try to reply promptly.ping grr.PNG
