Hey so I'm trying to get my brother a Gaming laptop that can play all the games like the newer laptops but I'm looking to spend around 400 or less. I know Omen is a good gaming laptop due to all there programs etc. But I was wondering dose HP Omen 15-AX234DX have a Cpu socket and can I upgrade it with a i9-core and also is it possible to put a new more up to date graphics card in to it and if so what would be compatible with this laptop. But if not what kind of laptop can I buy that has these upgrading features.

There are no notebooks that I know of where you can upgrade the processor since the Intel 5th generation core processors came out.
Notebook processors have all been integral parts of the motherboard.
The only notebooks that have upgradable graphics cards are some of the very expensive HP zBook business workstations costing in excess of a couple of thousand dollars.
You need to buy a notebook that comes with everything you ever wanted that is available at the time, because nowadays you are limited to upgrading the memory and storage only and on some models, you can't even upgrade the memory.
