Hello,
I need some help,
I've got an Omen 15-dc0xxx and want to upgrade it. I only got 256Gb SSD and wanted to add some memory to be able to get some more games. Is the "place" to add an HDD, or SSD or to i have to replace my actual SSD with another one with more storage capacity? Do you have any recommended products?
Also, i currently have 8Gb Ram, in my system information it is written " Total virtual memory : 15.8 Go" , So i if get it right i can add an 8Gb Ram. Do you know some products that are compatible with my pc? And can i add any ram with the one i have or do i need to change both to get up to 16Gb Ram?
Once i'll have all this done, Are they any updates or any configuration i'll need to do to make my pc work correctly with the new component?
Thanks a lot for the Help !!

What is your HP Omen 15-dc0xxx ? For example OMEN by HP - 15-dc0071tx. Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06095817
1. HDD: You can add 2.5" HDD or SSD to your machine but you need following parts
- Hard drive cable connector part # 929450-001
- Hard drive brackets part # 929561-001
and the follwing product is compatible
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-15-dc0071tx/CT13424236 (you can use 2TB, 500GB or 250GB)
2. RAM: As you can see my 15 months old machine has 32GB of RAM, you can buy 2 16GB of RAM sticks
16 GB, 2666 MHz, 1.2 v, DDR4 part # 937438-850
or add 8GB more to slot 2 to 16GB :
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-15-dc0071tx/CT13424193
or install 16GB on each slot to have 32GB
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/hp-omen-15-dc0071tx/CT13424245
Machine should be able to work immediately after those upgrades
Regards.
