Hi, I bought laptop in January of 2021 , it was the omen hp 15 ek-0042tx with an rtx 2060, i7 10750h,16gb ram ,512gb ssd and a 60hz panel. I had bought it from croma for a total of 1.3 lakh rupees including 3 year warranty. Before purchasing I was told it would have a 90hz panel however after purchase it did not hut i didn't make much of an issue out of it. however now the newer models have come and they're MUCH better for about the same price? it hasn't even been an year since purchase and my laptop is basically new. I was wondering if there's some sort of laptop upgrade program where I can pay around 30-40k at most and have one upgraded to the newer models because otherwise it doesn't really seem fair

Hello
you can possibly have some elements replaced
but you will certainly not have such a recent product
so, no, this is not done, you have to replace the parts yourself, or go to a professional
if you want to have the newest every time you are not going to get away with it, it changes really fast
the best that you can do in my opinion, it is either to keep this one a little while, since guaranteed
or resell it, and buy a rather expensive computer, which could last a little longer
your configuration is already not bad at all
To do well, if you want to follow the evolution, you have to abandon cellphones.
and go to the custom gaming computer configuration, modifiable during a certain time
therefore forget the manufacturers such HP asus etc!

I had bought it with the thought of using it for college , since I start it in a month. There's no option for me to have a pc since I'll be having to take my laptop with me to most classes and will only be able to use my pc in my room at that too would be shared. it would've been an extra waste of money. I do know that it's not possible to a new upgrade as soon as a recent one comes out however the amount I paid for this certainly isn't close to small and that's why if I was able to upgrade it for it to last 6 years instead of just 4 through college I'd really appreciate it. just seemed kind of unfair since at the time I was in a position of absolutely needing a laptop with my previous one having a battery life of 30 minutes , a half dead cpu and a 920m.

If this is just to work, this setup should allow you to use it for a while.
In any case, sorry but if you want to modify some elements, you will not have I think any particular offer.
