Upgrading my laptops SSD

HP Recommended
Omen 15

Hello, I am wanting to upgrade my SSD memory and/or RAM to get better performance during gaming, but my concern is I will lose all saved data and downloads if I do so?

@Gagewell

What is your Omen 15. You can keep all User files/data/apps when upgrading STORAGE by cloning old HDD (or SSD) to new HDD (or SSD). Upgrading RAM won't effect your files/data/apps.

Regards.

Mine is the Omen Laptop 15t-dc100. I recently downloaded a new game and now have low disc space. How do I clone old SSD to a new one? I never upgraded a PC before.
