Does my usb c support display port? I bought adapter but it's not working.

The specs means you can use USB-C to connect to USB-C monitor and the end result is similar to DP1.2. Do you have a monitor with USB-C connector ?

The only outputs in monitor are displayport, hdmi and vga. When I plug in the usbc-displayport cabel it's shows that there's no cabel connected on monitor, so perphaps it's the cabel fault?
