Using a laptop while charging/plugged in the charger.

HP Laptop - 15s-eq0011ne
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

is it okay to use a laptop while charging? some people say that it will ruin my battery and some people say that its normal, but i dont know what to believe. i game on my laptop, so i plug in the charger for better performance and not to worry about battery life, is it good or bad for my laptop?

Many people do that specially in office environments. I've been doing that for nearly 100% of my time working on computers.  Disconnect and connect will increase charging cycles and that won't help battery.  Please use the following guide to keep battery healthy
