Hp Omen 17-an012dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was playing Arkham Knight the other day and suddenly some vertical lines started appearing on my display. Test is cramped and very difficult to see. I even had difficulty writing this. I tried everything to fix it. I updated my graphics driver and checked all my display settings. I even kept on tilting my screen back and forth to see if that would fix it. The only option I haven't tried is connecting my laptop to an external display because I don't have any. I have come to the conclusion that I might need a new screen. However, I am not sure which screen replacement to get, if its the 30 pin or 40 pin. Could you guys help me out on deciding which screen to get?

Hello @Tahjae

If you have lines across your screen, even if you go into the Bios (F10 at boot), your screen is bad.

HP Sells that 30 pin screen separately, but its uber expensive... 939308-001

I would look at an alternative like this store for another screen.
