Product: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A4AV)

Hi. I bought this laptop a month ago. And faced a problem, in games that require a good CPU it keeps at a temperature of 82-90°C. And its frequency almost never exceeds 4092 Mhz. Despite the fact that a pair of cores have a frequency of about 1800Mhz. Sometimes the maximum frequency of 4.4Mhz still skips, but it happens for 1 second. I think it's throttling. I purchased a cooling pad but it didn't help. Any ideas?

I did as you said and updated the Bios. now my laptop takes a very long time to boot, and every time I turn the laptop on and off, it resets Windows settings, and all the shortcuts have disappeared from the desktop. help fix it now
