@Rayan912, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Sorry to hear about the GPU issues you're having with your HP Victus 15! It can be frustrating when troubleshooting doesn’t lead to results right away. Given the nature of your problem, I can walk you through some general troubleshooting steps, as well as some additional checks you might want to make. Let’s try these steps:

Perform a Hard Reset

Sometimes, a simple reset can clear any hardware issues or lingering software problems.

Turn off the laptop.

Unplug the power cable.

Remove the battery (if it's removable).

Hold down the power button for about 30 seconds to drain any residual power.

Plug everything back in and power it up.

Update the BIOS

Sometimes, updating the BIOS can resolve hardware issues, particularly with GPU or power management problems.

Go to HP's official website and find the support page for your specific model.

Look for the latest BIOS update and follow the installation instructions.

If your BIOS is out of date, updating it could help with stability, especially if there are known GPU-related issues.

Run HP Diagnostics

HP provides a built-in diagnostic tool that can test both the GPU and other hardware components to help identify the issue.

Turn off your laptop.

Turn it back on, and immediately start pressing ESC to bring up the startup menu.

Press F2 for HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.

Run the GPU/Video Test to see if there are any errors detected.

This will help identify if your GPU hardware is defective or if it’s related to software or drivers.

Update Graphics Drivers (Clean Install)

It sounds like you’ve tried updating the drivers, but you could try a clean install to ensure that no old or corrupted driver files are causing the crashes.

Download the latest drivers for your RTX 3050 from NVIDIA’s website.

Remove all previous NVIDIA drivers.

Reboot and then install the fresh driver you downloaded.

Important: When you install the new driver, make sure to use the Custom Installation option and select Clean Install to overwrite any old drivers.

Revert GPU Settings (Undervolting)

You mentioned that you undervolted the GPU. While undervolting can improve stability and lower power consumption, sometimes it can cause instability, especially if the voltage or clock speeds are too low. Try the following:

Reset the GPU settings back to default and test again. Sometimes, custom settings can push the hardware too far, even if it seems stable at first.

Use MSI Afterburner or NVIDIA Control Panel to adjust the GPU clock speed back to factory settings and test for stability.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
