I have noticed the audio occasionally stutters for seemingly no reason. There's nothing specific that triggers it, but the audio will stutter for a second before going back to normal. Sometimes it will stutter while I'm watching a livestream and the video will stutter for a second as well. I just got this laptop on the 27th of June and I haven't done anything to it that would cause any problems. Can someone help me out?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Experiencing audio and video stuttering on your Victus by HP gaming laptop can be frustrating, especially when using it for streaming or gaming. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve these issues:
Update Drivers: Ensure that all your system drivers, especially the audio and video drivers, are up to date. You can visit the HP Support Page and enter your laptop model to find the latest drivers.
Check for Windows Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
Disable Audio Enhancements:
- Right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select "Sounds".
- Go to the "Playback" tab, select your playback device, and click "Properties".
- Navigate to the "Enhancements" tab and uncheck all enhancements.
Adjust Power Settings: Sometimes power-saving settings can affect performance.
- Open "Control Panel" > "Power Options".
- Select "High performance".
Check Audio Settings: Ensure your audio settings are correct and that the sample rate is set to a standard setting (such as 44.1 kHz).
- Go to "Sounds" > "Playback" tab > "Properties" > "Advanced" tab.
Update and Optimize Video Playback Settings: Ensure your video playback software (such as Java, Flash Player) is up to date.
Run Performance Troubleshooter: Windows has built-in troubleshooters that can address performance issues.
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > "Play Audio" and "Video Playback".
