Hp Victus 16-S0011NT 7Z584EA (8gb RTX4060 Ryzen 7 7840HS 16GB Ram) turns on the fan at idle and under light load (such as browsing, watching videos). When I check the temperature values, I see that the CPU is between 30-35 degrees and this seems ridiculous to me. It has only been a week since I bought my laptop and there is no dusting. Changing the power modes on the Omen Gaing Hub did not help either. Turbo Boost is turned off. ECO mode does not work. Just like Windows power settings don't change anything. My old gaming laptop used to work silently at idle and under light load with default and balanced power plans so the fan noise annoys me when they are on below 50 degrees.

Hi,
I have the same issue. I just turned it down using the Omen Hub. In Omen Hub, under performance control, chose manual for thermal control. Won´t make a sound after that. Were you able to fix it any other way?

Unfortunately no. I also hear a strange crackling noise just before the fans start spinning that can only be heard in a quiet environment. Do you also hear a noise just before the fans start spinning? Considering that not many people have this problem, I'm starting to think that it might be the temperature sensors or a mistake during installation.
