Good day, actually I would like to ask if new AMD OEM driver is released yet as current newest version not compatible with 24H2 and by the way do it work on 25H2? I just suspect that the system internal driver can't work perfectly with AMD free sync display and caused black screen as HDMI port is soldered on NVidia ones and caused hybrid mode to go crazy (like main display screen go black)?

I understand your HP Victus 16-s1085AX laptop is experiencing a black screen when operating in hybrid graphics mode, possibly due to compatibility issues between the AMD FreeSync display and the internal driver. Let's explore potential causes and solutions.

a. AMD OEM Driver Support: The latest AMD Ryzen Chipset Driver (version 6.05.28.016) was released on April 1, 2024, with support for Windows 11 version 24H2. AMD

Adrenalin Graphics Driver: AMD Adrenalin 25.4.1, released in April 2025, is an optional update that includes support for Windows 11 version 24H2. Windows Latest

Windows 11 25H2 Compatibility: The latest chipset drivers are compatible with Windows 11 version 25H2. Windows Latest

b. Suggested Solutions

Update Drivers: Ensure both AMD and NVIDIA drivers are up to date.

Disable Hybrid Mode: Switch to discrete graphics mode in the BIOS to prevent conflicts.

Check Display Settings: Verify that the primary display is set correctly in the operating system.

Monitor for Updates: Keep an eye out for future driver updates that may address this issue.

I hope this helps.

Actually, just a site notes this issue actually arise when I try to fix the AMD free sync compatibility by using latest generic AMD software from official ones and that result the same issue before the current latest OEM driver released.

After research, i do released the 144Hz ones is support with AMD free sync as I mistakenly seeing at 75Hz ones.
For any user have same issue, roll back one version from latest one of AMD high-definition driver provided in hp support driver download and internal display will start working.
I don't actually know how the graphics switcher handles this situation maybe bugged the entire chain of command and break the handshake process or the driver itself also an issue as unplug external display also not fixes black screen. (Just my own logic and experience)
