@ncsongster, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Victus Stuck in Startup Mode!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Victus gaming laptop is stuck on the startup screen showing the Victus logo with a spinning circle after performing a recovery, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the computer by pressing and holding the power button.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  3. Remove any connected devices such as USB drives or external hard drives.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the AC adapter, and then turn on the computer.

2. Access Windows Recovery Environment

  1. Restart your laptop and repeatedly press the F11 key.
  2. On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot.
  3. Select Advanced options and then Startup Repair to attempt to repair any issues preventing Windows from booting properly.

Selecting Troubleshoot in the Windows Recovery Environment

Selecting Reset this PC to start the reset process

3. Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics

  1. Restart the computer and immediately press the Esc key repeatedly.
  2. When the menu appears, press the F2 key to open HP PC Hardware Diagnostics.
  3. Run a system test to check for any hardware issues.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
