Product: HP Pavilion Laptop PC 14-dv1000 (464V0AV)

I want to extend my expired warranty. When i checked with HP support, they directed me to third party company called ARM info service. Is it legit? I was not able to find any HP care packs when i put my SN in the hp support site. Please help.

thanks for the reply.
The contact number you suggested doesnt contain HP care packs sale.

An another update, for the email i received from ARM infoservice, There is an another mail from a HP person (email domain has @hp.com) confirmed they are authorised service. I still was not able to get convinced. How come a third part comes into picture telling themselves from HP.

HP uses third parties for some services, I can't guarantee for ARM I don't know, but if they wrote you with an HP address reply to that email address and see what you are replying to HP.
