OMEN Laptop - 15-ek0023dx

I have an OMEN 15-ek0xxx, and the screen's been cracked for a few years now.  It cracked after the warranty expired on it, and it wasn't really affecting anything so I'd just left it, but the cracks have of course gotten worse, and some glass fell off the other day.  I talked with Best Buy about what to do to replace the screen (the visual stuff is fine, the cracked glass is the only problem), and they quoted me at a minimum of 300 dollars to have it sent out to HP and back, with no fix.  Does anyone know what screen type is needed to replace it, or if HP will do a replacement for it?  I know the broken part of the screen comes out because it regularly pops off on the bottom 😄

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
