On 11/25/2022, I bought my HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000. It arrived by UPS yesterday, 12/1/2022, and I immediately registered it online.
But your web portal states that the HP Manufacturer/base warranty started on 9/27/2022 and expires on 10/31/2023 with this note: "Status - Active: Covered under Manufacturer warranty, 11 months remaining".
I paid for a new laptop. Is this a previously used laptop? If it is new, then why are you taking off 30 days from its warranty? When I tried to dispute it, no dispute link was displayed. Instead, I get this message:
"NOTE: If the dispute link is not displayed, the product might be a commercial product, which cannot be disputed online."
No further instructions are given. Where exactly do I go or who do I speak with to dispute the warranty status?
