OMEN by HP 17-cb0014ni
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi need some advice the last 45+ days have been torture... grinding fan noise permanently!

Did my research - clearly not enough - and settled with the HP OMEN Laptop as a good laptop for me cost me like $2100 that is a lot for me.  This is for both work and gaming.  Ensuring that the cooling is the Highest Priority for me as this was a problem with my DELL before.

So the local support guys here carry the 2nd and 3rd year of the onsite warranty, take my had for to online HP support they really tried to do what they can, but after a frustrating 45 days of trying to get the fans replaced as the one is faulty I'm not much further along than the day I logged the issue.

Now not getting much feedback and now nothing except parts are ordered (1 month later) from local support so my question then is if I go and purchase a $369.99 Carepack support to replace my local warranty will this be the best way about going this cause I don't trust that my issues are being dealt with fast enough.

Am I wasting my money or should I just go look at alternative products and write off this as a learning curve?

What is your suggestion and feedback?
