Warranty canceled before I got my laptop

HP Gaming Pavilion - 15-cx0056wm

Hello there. I was wondering if there is something you guys can do for my warranty. I got my laptop around January of this year and have been using it every day. The frame of my display has melted off of the screen and I think it is because some of the vents were covered when I placed my laptop on my bed for long periods of time while running (like anywhere from 1-5 hours). I check my warranty recently and I realized it canceled before I ordered it as it canceled on October 15, 2019, and started on September 11, 2018. I do not know what to do now and could really use some help on what to do.

@ehhhhhhuhhhhh Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are having a product warranty issue.

Please let us know have you register the product on the HP website.

Please contact our phone support with original invoice copy. They will update the warranty.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link -

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
