Hi @Chrism90 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It's unfortunate to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your OMEN laptop. Overheating and keyboard responsiveness problems can be caused by various factors, and it's important to address them to ensure the optimal performance of your device. Here are some steps you can take:

Cleaning: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate inside the laptop, causing it to overheat. Use compressed air to carefully clean the vents and fans. Make sure to do this in a well-ventilated area.

Check for Software Issues: Ensure that your operating system and drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes outdated drivers or software can cause performance issues. Update Windows and your graphics drivers to the latest versions.

Power Settings: Check your power settings to make sure your laptop is not running in a power-hungry mode unnecessarily. You can adjust the power plan settings through the Windows Power Options.

BIOS Update: Check if there's a BIOS update available for your laptop on the manufacturer's website. Updating the BIOS can sometimes resolve hardware-related issues.

Monitor Temperature: Install software to monitor your laptop's temperature. High temperatures can cause performance issues and damage over time. If the temperatures are consistently high, consider using a cooling pad or reapplying thermal paste.

Keyboard Issues: For the non-responsive W key, it might be a hardware problem. Try cleaning the key,
