Hey everyone!
I got my brand new pavilion yesterday(Aug22) from a local retailer, the manufacturer warranty is for 12months as per the box/website but as soon as I opened my HP support it is being shown that my warranty is valid for only 11 months. When I got the package it was not opened previously and the seal was also perfectly alright.

Hi:
For whatever reason they do it, HP starts the warranty clock ticking the minute the PC leaves the assembly plant.
So the more time the PC sits unsold, the less time remains on the warranty.
