Product: Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-s0000 (76T52AV)

Hello, today I received my new HP laptop purchased from another shop online, not the HP website. I wanted to look at the warranty on the HP site and I noticed that the warranty had already been activated since last summer. Is this normal? How is the HP warranty activated? When do we turn on the computer? Or when the shop bought the computer from HP? Perhaps I received a previously used computer? Because if that's the case I refuse to pay the price of a new computer
