HP Customer Service, almost 1 month has passed and we are still waiting a fix for blue screen/hibernate problem after BIOS update released at your support app.

@oRC-Oz I understand your concern and I will bring your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Please look for a private message requesting additional information.

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" on my public post, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

@oRC-Oz I got an update on this,

Under these circumstances, there are only two options available at the moment,

  • You can either wait for the update to be released, (which may take some time from what I'm told (not sure when it would be released)
  • Or, you can downgrade the BIOS using the steps mentioned here.
    • If none of the above works for you, and If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,
    • Here is a link to HP Service Centers, by Country/Region: Click here unless your product is under warranty.

I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Keep me posted

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
