Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an empty ssd slot in my laptop but I don't know which type of ssd to buy. My laptop is HP pavilion Gaming Laptop cx0xxx. Do I get a NVME or SATA?

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05985643

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

The M.2 slot your notebook has can support both SATA and NVMe SSDs.

NVMe SSD's would provide faster read/write speeds than SATA SSD's.
