While gaming my laptops performance suddenly decreases and game starts lagging, it occurs every 4-5mins. In MSI after burner it shows the CPU usage reaches 100% and GPU usage drops to 4-5% but when i opened the task manager it shows something else, my both cpu and gpu usage drops. It started recently.

I also did UEFI Diagnostics test didn't find any hardware issue

My specs: (HP Pavilion)
Ryzen 5 5600h

8gb ram 3200mhz
GTX 1650

512gb ssd

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

 

Have you happened to update Windows updates, Bios, and graphics?

 

If not done already, Click here and use your unit serial number and the current OS and update. 

 

Make sure while playing games, the power is connected as the GPU needs more power.
