Hi, I recently bought an HP product with model number "Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fb3036AX", I am a little doubtful about the product i have purchased. I have 2 issues right and making me feel an uncomfortable purchase.
1) model is not searchable with model number on official HP Product list page. Very strange. Even after giving serial number it is giving error message show in below screen grab:

2) At the time of purchase Salesman informed me about having SSD with 2 slots for expansion. I purchased. But after research i found that there is only one slot. And the support pages is too complicated which mention all fb3*** products. It took me 1.5 hrs to find out that i may not have 2nd slot, but still i am not sure.
What should I do in this case. When I am not happy with the purchase?

You're very welcome.
Yes, that is unfortunate that a person from HP did not have the right info, which is available online to the public as I had pointed out.
Usually, there is a picture of the motherboard out there in cyberspace.
I even found the part number for it but I could find no pictures of one.
Probably because the PC is brand new.
Anyway, it seems like a nice PC and if you need additional storage you can always install a 2 TB or 4 TB Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD.

Hi:
The PC shows up in the HP PartSurfer database:
Unfortunately, there is no motherboard part number or a picture of it.
The only thing we have to go in is the HP specs for the model series:
Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fb3000 series specifications | HP® Support
The way I interpret the specs is that only the notebooks with the Ryzen AI processors have support for two M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Dual storage: (on models configured with AMD Ryzen™ AI processors, Ryzen™ 7 H 255, AMD Ryzen™ 7 260, Ryzen™ 5 240 processor).
Yours has the Ryzen 7 8645HS which is not on the above list, so I would be pretty confident in advising you that the notebook does not have support for two M.2 NVMe SSDs.

Thanks for reply and help! Yeah there is only 1 M.2 NVMe SSDs slot. I just got confirmation from "HP World" (I went there physically). However just to confirm they charged me, which is unfortunate. I was assuming they will help but they took as opportunity to earn 😞
Overall, I think I got cheated by the Salesman who provided me wrong information about expandable SSD slot 😞 That was the crucial decision before the purchasing.
HP has done pretty bad job here in not clearly mentioning the details in their specification page. Salesman also went through the page and confirmed me. But due to this confusion I am at loss.
