Hello,

I have a problem with wifi signal. It works for 5-10 minutes, then the wifi signal drops to the last dot and the wifi works 4-8 times slower, than it works on other devices.  When the laptop is near router, it works as it should. But wifi signal or router are not the problem, because as I said, wifi works on the other devices.  I even bought wifi range extender and it did not solve my problem. I have Linux installed alongside Windows as a dualboot and the Wifi does not work on it either. I found that someone had similar problem, but on the RTL8723BE. My computer has Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter.  The problem with this wireless network adapters is, that it supposedly has two antennas and it connects with the wrong one. I have tried to repair the problem on Linux with this solution(https://connectwww.com/how-to-solve-realtek-rtl8723be-weak-wifi-signal-problem-in-ubuntu/4625/), but it did not work, when I changed from RTL8732BE to RTL8822BE. Does anyone has a solution for this problem?

I attached three pictures of the problem.

Sorry for the grammar and thank you for your help.

Hi:

I don't know what wifi driver you have installed, but the only suggestion I can offer would be to try the latest driver HP has for that model wifi card...

If you don't have two antenna cables attached to the 8822 card, it won't work properly.

If the notebook came with the 8822 card then it would have two antenna cables.
