Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I would like to purchase the HP USB-C G5 Dock. I want to know if that docking station will it charge the laptop? I have used 2 different brands of dock stations, but none will transfer power to the laptop. Can you confirm if this HP G5 dock will power the HP OMEN 16-ar0013dx gaming laptop?

No, the HP USB-C G5 Dock will not charge the HP OMEN 16-ar0013dx gaming laptop.

 

If you're looking for docking functionality (USB ports, Ethernet, display output), the HP USB-C G5 Dock will work for data and display, but you’ll still need to use the original AC adapter to power the laptop.
