Affects on laptop: high temperature, unstable. It used to run Val on 300 fps no problem while streaming too now its on 44 

fps :/ but the laptop's real temperature doesn't feel more than 50 Celsius. i removed the battery too. but the problem happened before.

I'm really sorry to hear about the accidental drop – that must feel like such a tough moment, especially with a laptop you've had for years. Since this might be accidental damage, it’s best to get it checked by a professional to assess the extent of the damage.

 

If you have any data backup, it’s a good time to check if you can recover any important files, just in case.

 

Contact HP Support or an authorized service center to inspect the internal components, as drops can cause hardware issues that aren't visible externally.
