Hello @MightyBarb
Could you be more specific?
There isn't anything you need to do to activate cooling, so I don't understand why you are asking that.

OK would you tell me the full Product Number of your Omen ce0xx series?
The product number is located in the HP Support Assistant.
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H>HP Help and Support>HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The Product Number will be listed either on the top or bottom of the window.
What games are you playing and what is the temperature when playing?
If you open the Omen Command Center (OCC), you can see the temps.
To do this, open the OCC first. Then run your game.
Then as you play, if your game is full screen, hit CTRL/ALT/ DEL and choose Task Manager to minimize the game.
Then read the temps on the OCC.

Your model is OMEN by HP - 15-ce017nb.
So what you're saying is, your system goes up to 60° while gaming?
If so, this is completely normal. When the system is taxed with a heavy task like gaming, of course your temps are going to go up.
If that's all its going up to, you're one of the lucky ones. Quite a few peoples gaming laptops go into the 80's and sometimes even 90's when gaming.
