Hi,
On being plugged in I get the message that "Adapter plugged in Not Charging".
So I searched on the online community, downloaded the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI and ran the same.
Battery status passed, Adapter status passed.
Still "Adapter plugged in Not Charging".
I have also disassembled and assembled the laptop charger. Running out of battery, need urgent help.

Sorry to hear that.
The only other option I can think of is to disconnect the battery (ya its not an easy feat to dig into the case). Then connect a working charger to the laptop and see if the laptop will power on. work. If not, there is some physical damage to the laptop board most likely.
Your model number is 15-ax248tx.

Before anyone can help you, we need to know what model or product number your Omen is.
You put that it has Vista, but Omens dont come with that.
IF the laptop is off, power it on and begin rapidly tapping the F1 key. That will open the info panel before windows starts up.
Are you still under warranty? IF the charger will not run the laptop or charge the battery, it will probably need to be replaced.
But it might also be a bad battery. Let me know what you have.

I updated the laptop details.
I am out of warranty. So there.
Took laptop to showroom to check with another charger, still the same error.
Plugged my charger to another HP, that laptop too gave the same error.
