add a 4k monitor
my model HP Pavilion - 15-au101nx
I want to ask about, what is the version of HDMI?
can support 4k monitor or not?

@m-t569p-, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for the laptop.  On Page 5, Right side, Item #4, there is a description for the HDMI port.  I believe from what it says that the HDMI is 1.0.  It appears to only be capable of supporting HD monitors, not 4K.
