battery drain while gaming

I just bought this model for my wife and was pleased with the overall results from reviews concerning the model. 

However, the reason for this purchase was to be ab to play games without sitting at her desk. 

From a 100% charge to 5% in an hour while playing WoW  just doesn't seem right. other operations like general surfing or spotify doesn't seem to have a major drain 

i have lowered the graphics in game in hopes that was drawing power, but either ultra high or med graphics in game does not change. 

IT has the pre loaded programs of win 10 (64) the Blizz game launcher with WoW being only game updated. 

IS this a known issue  or did i just happen the get a bad unit?

Hi, I don't know loads about pc's but some graphics cards do use a lot more power than others, you could undervolt it as a lot of them use around 200-400w from my knowledge in a laptop which is why it drains the battery so quick whilst gaming compared to tasks that use the CPU more as the CPU uses around 50-120w which is a lot less and why it lasts loads linger on those tasks as well as probabboy less fan usage and maybe lower refresh rates, just a heads up! My laptop only lasts 2 hours unplugged as well maximum in CS:GO, it's hard to find anything that can do much more then a few hours of gaming on the move!
