Hi @abhinav1304,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding !

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Verify Battery Health:

  • Check the battery health status using the HP Diagnostics Tool.
  • Open the HP Support Assistant application and go to Battery Check to evaluate.

Adjust Power Settings:

  • Navigate to Settings > System > Power & sleep.
  • Adjust settings to reduce power consumption, such as reducing the screen timeout and sleep time.

Reduce Screen Brightness:

  • Lower the screen brightness to conserve power.

Disable Unnecessary Applications:

  • Disable or uninstall applications running in the background that may be consuming excessive power.
  • Use Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) to identify and end processes that are not needed.

Enable Battery Saver Mode:

  • Activate Battery Saver Mode in Settings > System > Battery whenever you’re running low on power or need to extend battery life.

Update Drivers and BIOS:

  • Ensure all device drivers and BIOS are up to date.
  • Visit HP Support, search for your laptop model, and download the latest drivers and BIOS updates.

Check for Software Updates:

  • Ensure Windows 10/11 is fully updated.
  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.

Manage Startup Programs:

  • Disable unnecessary startup programs.
  • Open Task Manager > Startup tab, disable programs you don't need immediately after starting your laptop.

Adjust Graphics Settings:

  • If the laptop switches between integrated and discrete graphics, ensure that it uses integrated graphics for less demanding tasks.
  • Open NVIDIA Control Panel (or AMD equivalent) and set power management mode to "Optimal Power".

Reduce CPU Power Consumption:

  • Adjust settings to minimize CPU usage when possible.
  • Navigate to Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings > Change advanced power settings.
  • Modify processor power management settings to reduce maximum processor state.

Battery Calibration:

  • Fully charge the battery to 100%, then discharge completely until the laptop shuts down.
  • Recharge to 100% again to calibrate the battery.

I hope this helps.
