Hi @Medisney,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand the camera on your HP OmniBook X Flip 16-inch 2-in-1 Laptop is blocked. You can unblock it and ensure it is activated by following these steps:

Check the Camera Privacy Cover:

  • The camera privacy cover, if engaged, can block the lens. Ensure that the cover is slid open to use the camera.

Enable the Camera through Software:

  • Select the Start menu and search for "Device Manager".

  • In the Device Manager window, expand the "Cameras" or "Imaging devices" section.

  • Make sure the camera is listed and enabled. If not, right-click it and select "Enable".

Ensure Software Permissions:

  • Go to "Settings" > "Privacy" > "Camera".
  • Ensure that the camera access for this device is enabled and that apps can access your camera.

Test the Camera:

  • Use an application like the Camera app in Windows to test if the camera is functioning correctly after these adjustments.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
