Product: OMEN X by HP Laptop 17-ap0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 I'm new to changing parts in laptops and was wondering if a  Crucial MX500 1TB SATA 2.5-inch 7mm (with 9.5mm adapter) Internal SSD could replace the HDD in my laptop thank you in advance!

Yes, it will fit physically. You may not need the spacer (adapter).
